Digital Switching Systems such as PowerPlex® offer comprehensive options for controlling and monitoring, including automation of important functions. They provide power distribution as well as control of all electrical and electronic systems such as illumination, heating, pumps and fans.
Central operation is via user-friendly interfaces by means of displays and smart phones. A PowerPlex® system is an integral part of a yacht and ensures operational readiness even under harshest environmental conditions.
The PowerPlex®® DC modules are intelligent control units for DC applications which can be used alone or in combination. Depending on the number of the required inputs and outputs and the complexity of the control jobs, you can select the system components you need.
The PowerPlex® Power Module with physically isolated CAN bus interface can switch twelve loads. It features a manual override function for each 8 A and 25 A output. This allows manual and direct switch-over and ensures access to critical boat functions.
PowerPlex® Power Module PM500
The PowerPlex® Compact Module can switch ten loads with up to 10 A. Motors e.g. for step treads can also easily be controlled. Digital and analog inputs allow connection of switches, momentary switches, shunts, level sensors and temperature sensors.
The PowerPlex® Mini Module is perfectly suitable for LEDs and ambient lighting. Its eight inputs are configured individually and are used for battery monitoring as well as for voltage and resistance measurement, e.g. with level sensors.
The PowerPlex® AC modules are intelligent control units for AC applications and are specifically designed for customer requirements of the various markets. Our customers’ demands determine our AC solutions. They differ in the number of slots, the circuit breakers used for protection of the AC loads as well as the housing type.
For instance the PowerPlex® AC8345R module offers up to 14 slots for 8345-R hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers.
The PowerPlex® HMI devices allow convenient observation and intuitive operation. Visualise status, alarm or error messages. Select your favourites from various keypads and touch displays for your PowerPlex® application.
E-T-A PowerPlex® keypads are universal operating units for your control and visualisation tasks. They can be programmed flexibly to switch loads and visualise their operating conditions.
The PowerPlex® web server provides display, monitoring and control of a PowerPlex® system via smart phone, tablet, multi-functional displays or computers. The user interfaces can individually be adapted to your system.
A gateway allows communication between different, not (necessarily) compatible systems.
The PowerPlex® Gateway connects a PowerPlex® System with other networks. It allows the combination and communication of a PowerPlex® CAN bus with various bus systems: CAN (e.g. RV-C, SAE J1939), CI-Bus (CIVD), Modbus.

The well-proven CAN bus technology of the automotive sector is the basis of our PowerPlex®® system. Your customers are supplied with an on-board electrical system that offers safety, reliability and user-convenience. It regulates, controls and monitors many different loads conveniently, reliably and – if required – automatically, e.g. heating, air-conditioning, water makers, bilge pumps, tanks and more. Special safety functions alert the owner in the event of malfunctions.
