The EM12-T / EM12D-T power supply modules accept the 24 V DC supply voltage, for example from a switched-mode power supply, and distribute it to the connected circuit protectors via the contact lever integrated in the REX12-T / REX12D-T / REX22D-T.

In the EM12-T, the floating signal contact Si reports faults detected by the circuit protector to a higher-level control unit (CPU). In contrast, the EM12D-T modules capture all status information and measurement values of the circuit protectors.
These are transmitted to the higher-level control system via an IO-Link or Modbus RTU master.

Both technologies provide the necessary transparency to detect changes in the production process at an early stage and take appropriate countermeasures.
