The ESX300-S electronic circuit protector in the ControlPlex Rack reliably protects against system failure by active fault current limitation in the event of a failure. Within the shortest of times it disconnects the faulty circuit reliably and selectively. The voltage dips will not affect any adjoining faultless devices. Fire hazard is reliably excluded. By means of status LEDs the ESX300-S even indicates alarms on site. Trouble-shooting is supported effectively.
In addition it features smart control, monitoring and measuring functions provided by the communication module RCI10 with Ethernet/IP interface. Thus the ControlPlex Rack system becomes an intelligent overcurrent protection and power management system which can even be extended with the system live.
Ease of integration into existing management systems
This is mainly enabled by the centralised alarm and configuration management of supplied and connected systems. ControlPlex® Rack can easily be integrated in existing management systems because of the supported SNMP, v1, v3 protocols in the communication module RCI10 and the included Management Information Base (MIB).
Integral web server
Even without management system, the controller type RCI10 and its integral web server allow remote or automatic ON and OFF operation of loads by means of the web browser. It is also able to provide system status data and measuring data in real time.
